Alexa Carver (She/ her)
I am a Seattle based independent consultant who specializes in governance, identity and strategy consulting for nonprofits.
I started my career as a teacher and school administrator, and have since moved into an active role in a wide array of nonprofits as a consultant and board member. I founded my own nonprofit consultancy in 2013, creating Inspire Impact Consulting. As a consultant I have had the honor of working with many diverse nonprofits across several sectors including education, the environment, youth services, and social services. For the past 20 years I have focused my work on boards and leadership teams to inspire positive impacts for the larger ecosystem of which we are all a part. In all of my work I center these core principles:

I am the process expert, you are the content expert: I am able to work across sectors because I only work in close collaboration with my clients, relying on you to provide the foundational knowledge so I can guide our process effectively.
My job is to facilitate: Literally, my job is to make your job easier. If you are in leadership, allow me to support you on your journey to create better outcomes for all of us.
We all serve a public purpose: I operate from an abundance mindset and believe that purpose driven nonprofits must improve the ecosystem as a whole, not just their own communities or clients.

Outside of work I enjoy being active outdoors with friends in the beautiful Northwest. I live in Seattle with my partner, my three children, and my noisy goldendoodle (who you will often hear barking in the background of my virtual meetings).
